Tata Power Company standalone net profit declines 75.76% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 1.70% to Rs 1691.47 crore

Net profit of Tata Power Company declined 75.76% to Rs 51.72 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 213.37 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 1.70% to Rs 1691.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1663.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 23.62% to Rs 771.62 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1010.29 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.52% to Rs 7932.19 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 7446.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
