Tata Steel reports consolidated net loss of Rs 1168.02 crore in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 29.63% to Rs 33424.09 crore

Net Loss of Tata Steel reported to Rs 1168.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 3041.88 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 29.63% to Rs 33424.09 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 25783.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 4168.57 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against net loss of Rs 497.09 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.12% to Rs 111562.05 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 101307.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
