Tata Steel reports standalone net profit of Rs 6593.54 crore in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 51.97% to Rs 20817.72 crore

Net profit of Tata Steel reported to Rs 6593.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against net loss of Rs 436.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 51.97% to Rs 20817.72 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 13698.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit rose 101.76% to Rs 13606.62 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 6743.80 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales rose 8.38% to Rs 63743.40 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 58815.57 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
