TeamLease Services jumps after T Rowe Price buys stake

TeamLease Services rose 9.66% to Rs 2,075 at 11:38 IST on BSE after a global investment management firm T Rowe Price purchased stake in the company via bulk deals on NSE yesterday, 21 November 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 56.55 points, or 0.17% to 33,534.90.

On the BSE, 11,000 shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 1,275 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 2,184.95 so far during the day, which is also a record high for the counter. The stock had hit a low of Rs 1,950 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 828.05 on 5 December 2016.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past 30 days till 21 November 2017, rising 14.69% compared with 2.99% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 28.04% as against Sensex's 6.05% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one year, rising 122.61% as against Sensex's 28.96% rise.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 17.10 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

T. Rowe Price International A/C - T Rowe Price International Small-Cap Equity Trust bought 85,736 shares (0.50% stake) and International Discovery Fund bought 7.50 lakh shares (4.39% stake) in TeamLease Services at Rs 1,885 per share through separate bulk deals on NSE yesterday, 21 November 2017.

GPE (India) sold 6.56 lakh shares (3.84% stake) in TeamLease Services at Rs 1,885.04 per share through a bulk deal on NSE yesterday, 21 November 2017. Gaja Capital India Fund I sold 1.53 lakh shares (0.90% stake) in TeamLease Services at Rs 1,885 per share through a bulk deal on NSE yesterday, 21 November 2017.
