Torrent Power leads gainers in 'A' group

Financial Technologies (India), Bharti Infratel, Titan Company and MCX are among the other gainers.

Power utility Torrent Power jumped 6.04% to Rs 107.95. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The company will announce year ended March 2014 (FY 2014) results on 12 May 2014.

Financial software maker Financial Technologies (India) (FTIL) galloped 4.99% to Rs 299.95. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Telecom tower infrastructure service provider Bharti Infratel spurted 3.88% to Rs 222.45. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Gold jewellery and watches maker Titan Company climbed 3.47% to Rs 271.05. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company's net profit rose 11.61% to Rs 206.44 crore on 7.04% increase in total income to Rs 2828.88 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013. The company announced the result at the fag end of the trading session today.

Commodity exchange operator MCX rose 3.34% to Rs 543.75. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
