Torrent Power reports standalone net loss of Rs 222.18 crore in the March 2020 quarter

Sales rise 1.30% to Rs 2930.69 crore

Net loss of Torrent Power reported to Rs 222.18 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against net profit of Rs 26.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales rose 1.30% to Rs 2930.69 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 2893.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit rose 39.24% to Rs 1238.14 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 889.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 3.58% to Rs 13442.04 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 12977.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
