Torrent Power standalone net profit rises 113.73% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 8.37% to Rs 2304.35 crore

Net profit of Torrent Power rose 113.73% to Rs 369.43 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 172.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 8.37% to Rs 2304.35 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 2126.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 682.43% to Rs 742.06 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 94.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 16.92% to Rs 9839.22 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 8415.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
