Transcorp International standalone net profit rises 77.78% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 19.25% to Rs 262.97 crore

Net profit of Transcorp International rose 77.78% to Rs 0.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 0.27 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 19.25% to Rs 262.97 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 220.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 27.88% to Rs 1.50 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 21.50% to Rs 1197.16 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 985.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
