Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

Nifty November futures trade at premium

The Nifty November 2017 futures traded at 10371.80, a premium of 36.50 points over Nifty's spot closing of 10335.30 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 3.45 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 3.12 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index lost 28.35 points or 0.27% to settle at 10,335.30.

Axis Bank, Tata Steel, DLF, State Bank of India (SBI) and Dr Reddy's Laboratories (DRL) were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. Axis Bank November 2017 futures traded at 524.20, at a discount compared with spot closing of 525.25. Tata Steel November 2017 futures traded at 709, at a premium over spot closing of 703.55.

DLF November 2017 futures traded at 202.50, at a premium over spot closing of 201.70. SBI November 2017 futures traded at 307.80, at a premium over spot closing of 306.55. DRL November 2017 futures traded at 2445, at a premium over spot closing of 2428.20.
