Umang Dairies net profit rises 78.50% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 59.58% to Rs 87.13 crore

Net profit of Umang Dairies rose 78.50% to Rs 3.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 2.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 59.58% to Rs 87.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 54.60 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 51.54% to Rs 5.96 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 12.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 23.76% to Rs 192.15 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 155.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
