United Breweries standalone net profit declines 87.15% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 8.23% to Rs 1112.70 crore

Net profit of United Breweries declined 87.15% to Rs 6.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 52.37 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 8.23% to Rs 1112.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1212.49 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 23.01% to Rs 229.33 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 297.87 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 2.16% to Rs 4734.12 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4838.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
