United Breweries standalone net profit rises 6.88% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 13.34% to Rs 1184.70 crore

Net profit of United Breweries rose 6.88% to Rs 51.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 48.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.34% to Rs 1184.70 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1045.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 13.50% to Rs 294.57 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 259.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.33% to Rs 4569.76 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4179.69 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
