United Nilgiri Tea Estates Company net profit rises 42.74% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales rise 26.54% to Rs 8.20 crore

Net profit of United Nilgiri Tea Estates Company rose 42.74% to Rs 1.67 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 26.54% to Rs 8.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 6.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit rose 36.02% to Rs 5.74 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 4.22 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 16.38% to Rs 35.66 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 30.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
