Sales rise 13.38% to Rs 421.53 crore

Net profit of Universal Cables reported to Rs 33.45 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against net loss of Rs 0.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 13.38% to Rs 421.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 371.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 25.37% to Rs 67.23 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 90.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 18.37% to Rs 1280.67 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 1568.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
