Universal Cables standalone net profit declines 34.01% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 13.38% to Rs 421.53 crore

Net profit of Universal Cables declined 34.01% to Rs 7.82 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 11.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 13.38% to Rs 421.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 371.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 81.15% to Rs 12.17 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 64.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 18.37% to Rs 1280.67 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 1568.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
