Universal Cables standalone net profit rises 264.30% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 49.82% to Rs 376.86 crore

Net profit of Universal Cables rose 264.30% to Rs 18.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 5.07 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 49.82% to Rs 376.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 251.55 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 44.07% to Rs 41.94 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 29.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 44.55% to Rs 1182.72 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 818.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
