Va Tech Wabag standalone net profit declines 45.17% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 27.78% to Rs 703.75 crore

Net profit of Va Tech Wabag declined 45.17% to Rs 28.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 52.18 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 27.78% to Rs 703.75 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 550.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 34.08% to Rs 74.98 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 113.74 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 18.83% to Rs 1798.38 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1513.43 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
