Vardhman Industries reports standalone net profit of Rs 2.42 crore in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 35.62% to Rs 76.11 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Industries reported to Rs 2.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against net loss of Rs 0.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 35.62% to Rs 76.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 56.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 34.57% to Rs 4.71 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 13.48% to Rs 245.14 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 283.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
