Vardhman Textiles net profit rises 33.90% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 13.85% to Rs 1282.22 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles rose 33.90% to Rs 154.32 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 115.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 13.85% to Rs 1282.22 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1126.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 101.37% to Rs 651.88 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 323.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 24.32% to Rs 5171.31 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 4159.71 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
