Vardhman Textiles standalone net profit declines 41.55% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 9.79% to Rs 1407.79 crore

Net profit of Vardhman Textiles declined 41.55% to Rs 90.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 154.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 9.79% to Rs 1407.79 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 1282.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 44.91% to Rs 359.11 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 651.88 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 11.04% to Rs 5742.03 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 5171.31 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
