Vedanta Ltd fell 2.27% today to trade at Rs 302. The S&P BSE Metal index is down 1.42% to quote at 20276.88. The index is up 0.65 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, National Aluminium Company Ltd decreased 1.82% and Hindalco Industries Ltd lost 1.78% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 2.37 % over last one year compared to the 5.02% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
