Venus Remedies net profit rises 18.08% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 9.81% to Rs 137.29 crore

Net profit of Venus Remedies rose 18.08% to Rs 14.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 11.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 9.81% to Rs 137.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 125.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.65% to Rs 60.95 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 57.15 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 12.98% to Rs 518.69 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 459.10 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
