Vijay Shanthi Builders net profit rises 443.33% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 58.28% to Rs 13.80 crore

Net profit of Vijay Shanthi Builders rose 443.33% to Rs 1.63 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.30 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 58.28% to Rs 13.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 33.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 51.83% to Rs 4.07 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 8.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 44.99% to Rs 76.05 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 138.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
