Vijaya Bank announced the Indian Banks Association has informed the bank that the following unions have given a call to go on an all India bank strike on 02 September 2016;
1. AN India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA)
2. Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI)
3. Indian National Bank Employees Federation (INBEF)
4. All India Bank Officers Association (AIBOA)
5. All India Bank Officers Confederation (AIBOC)
6. Indian National Bank Officers Congress (INBOC)
