Vikas Granaries net profit declines 55.65% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 140.05% to Rs 52.57 crore

Net profit of Vikas Granaries declined 55.65% to Rs 0.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 1.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 140.05% to Rs 52.57 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 21.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 92.99% to Rs 0.64 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 9.13 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 35.16% to Rs 139.35 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 214.92 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
