Visa Steel reports net loss of Rs 20.86 crore in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 9.98% to Rs 261.94 crore

Net loss of Visa Steel reported to Rs 20.86 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against net profit of Rs 78.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 9.98% to Rs 261.94 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 238.16 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 152.50 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against net loss of Rs 91.04 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 0.86% to Rs 990.84 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 999.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
