Voltamp Transformers net profit declines 36.24% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales decline 17.42% to Rs 144.49 crore

Net profit of Voltamp Transformers declined 36.24% to Rs 9.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 14.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales declined 17.42% to Rs 144.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 174.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 20.09% to Rs 26.29 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 32.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 13.72% to Rs 444.78 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 515.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
