Voltas consolidated net profit rises 22.07% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 8.52% to Rs 1998.31 crore

Net profit of Voltas rose 22.07% to Rs 200.47 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 164.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 8.52% to Rs 1998.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1841.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 30.10% to Rs 511.42 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 393.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 4.88% to Rs 5970.56 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 5692.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
