Among the other constituents of the index, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd decreased 1.48% and Whirlpool of India Ltd lost 1.08% on the day. The S&P BSE Consumer Durables index went up 24.5 % over last one year compared to the 15.75% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
