Bajaj Auto clocked volume of 3.14 lakh shares by 12:48 IST on BSE, a 17.74-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock fell 1.50% to Rs 2,373.90 after net profit fell 29.41% to Rs 590.90 crore on 14.67% rise in total income to Rs 6076.70 crore in Q2 September 2014 over Q2 September 2013. The result was announced after market hours on Tuesday, 14 October 2014.
CEAT notched up volume of 5.11 lakh shares, a 2.85-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.79 lakh shares. The stock rose 7.04% to Rs 846.50.
DLF saw volume of 91.72 lakh shares, a 2.68-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 34.25 lakh shares. The stock rose 5.43% to Rs 110.65 on bargain hunting after the stock crashed 31.27% in the preceding three trading sessions to Rs 104.95 on Tuesday, 14 October 2014, from a recent high of Rs 152.70 on 9 October 2014.
UltraTech Cement clocked volume of 24,000 shares, a 2.64-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock fell 4.53% to Rs 2,355.10.
RS Software (India) saw volume of 1.75 lakh shares, a 2.30-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 76,000 shares. The stock rose 5.61% to Rs 759.85.
