Cox & Kings clocked volume of 8.82 lakh shares by 12:08 IST on BSE, a 48.49-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 18,000 shares. The stock rose 1.26% to Rs 268.50.
Emami Paper Mills notched up volume of 4.81 lakh shares, a 33.78-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock gained 4.03% to Rs 230.
Gayatri Projects saw volume of 1.29 crore shares, a 29.36-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4.41 lakh shares. The stock rose 3.53% to Rs 216.90.
Shree Cement clocked volume of 62,000 shares, a 22.54-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock dropped 1.75% to Rs 19,170. Shree Cement's net profit rose 41.6% to Rs 333.33 crore on 23.1% growth in net sales to Rs 2296.23 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 11 January 2018.
