Gateway Distriparks clocked volume of 10.92 lakh shares by 12:41 IST on BSE, a 37.57-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock rose 2.22% to Rs 259.80.
Rainbow Papers notched up volume of 22.35 lakh shares, a 23.27-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 96,000 shares. The stock fell 1.39% to Rs 78.15.
DLF saw volume of 1.14 crore shares, a 9.49-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 12.11 lakh shares. The stock slumped 25.15% to Rs 109.80 on the back of the stock market regulator imposing a three-year ban on the company and its top executives from securities markets.
Divi's Laboratories clocked volume of 42,000 shares, a 4.98-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 8,000 shares. The stock rose 2.57% to Rs 1771.35.
Sesa Sterlite saw volume of 20.02 lakh shares, a 4.34-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.61 lakh shares. The stock fell 2.88% to Rs 243.05. Reaffirming its earlier order, the Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday, 14 October 2014, reportedly said that iron ore mined in Goa before 2007 belongs to the state, but only relates to inventory.
