Hindustan Construction Company clocked volume of 46.85 lakh shares by 13:43 IST on BSE, a 8.56-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5.47 lakh shares. The stock surged 15.41% at Rs 33.70.
Bank of Baroda notched up volume of 32.33 lakh shares, a 8.4-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.85 lakh shares. The stock tumbled 10.6% to Rs 194.40 after net profit declined 68.12% to Rs 333.98 crore on 11.16% growth in total income to Rs 11808.34 crore in Q3 December 2014 over Q3 December 2013. The Q3 result was announced during market hours today, 30 January 2015.
Caplin Point Laboratories saw volume of 93,000 shares, a 7.11-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock spurted 17.47% at Rs 613.30.
Indraprastha Gas clocked volume of 2.18 lakh shares, a 5.72-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 38,000 shares. The stock fell 0.74% at Rs 467.
NTPC saw volume of 14.93 lakh shares, a 5.68-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2.63 lakh shares. The stock rose 2.29% at Rs 145.10.
