Volumes jump at IL&FS Transportation Networks counter

DB Corp, Fresenius Kabi Oncology, Allahabad Bank and Bank of India are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 31 October 2013.

IL&FS Transportation Networks clocked volume of 7.29 lakh shares by 13:39 IST on BSE, a 60.56-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 12,000 shares. The stock rose 2.49% to Rs 109.

DB Corp notched up volume of 8.04 lakh shares, a 21.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 37,000 shares. The stock lost 0.46% at Rs 261.

Fresenius Kabi Oncology saw a volume of 5.94 lakh shares, a 9.81-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 61,000 shares. The stock rose 2.23% at Rs 130.70.

Allahabad Bank clocked volume of 15.38 lakh shares, a 6.89-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.23 lakh shares. The stock spurted 10.99% at Rs 89.85 after net profit rose 17.76% to Rs 275.81 crore on 15.72% growth in total income to Rs 5303.06 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012. The Q2 result was announced during trading hours today, 31 October 2013.

Bank of India (BoI) saw volume of 20.46 lakh shares, a 6.52-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 3.14 lakh shares. The stock jumped 13.46% at Rs 196.40 after net profit surged 105.98% to Rs 621.77 crore on 16.18% growth in total income to Rs 10339.55 crore in Q2 September 2013 over Q2 September 2012. The Q2 result was announced during trading hours today, 31 October 2013.
