SKF India, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, NCC, and Mahindra & Mahindra are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 17 September 2014.
Kalyani Steels clocked volume of 7.37 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 6.36-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.16 lakh shares. The stock jumped 14.29% at Rs 131.55.
SKF India notched up volume of 4.69 lakh shares, a 5.52-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 85,000 shares. The stock rose 2.68% at Rs 1,147.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories saw volume of 30,000 shares, a 2.96-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 10,000 shares. The stock rose 1.48% at Rs 3,053.60.
NCC clocked volume of 26.17 lakh shares, a 2.94-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 8.90 lakh shares. The stock spurted 9.2% at Rs 74.20.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) saw volume of 1.20 lakh shares, a 2.31-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 52,000 shares. The stock rose 1.05% at Rs 1,388.05.
