McNally Bharat Engineering Company clocked volume of 11.13 lakh shares by 12:33 IST on BSE, a 40.32-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 28,000 shares. The stock rose 5.38% to Rs 104.75.
Wabco India notched up volume of 8,000 shares, a 14.19-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock fell 0.24% to Rs 6,050.
Bharat Heavy Electricals (Bhel) saw volume of 40.35 lakh shares, a 11.15-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.62 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.93% to Rs 168.
Premier Explosives clocked volume of 2.26 lakh shares, a 8.85-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 26,000 shares. The stock rose 14.23% to Rs 472.10. The company announced during trading hours today, 6 January 2016, that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Israel Aerospace Industries for exploring potential business opportunities.
Exide Industries saw volume of 7.71 lakh shares, a 7.91-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 97,000 shares. The stock rose 0.88% to Rs 143.65.
