Volumes jump at Picturehouse Media counter

Financial Technologies (India), Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), HDFC Bank and HPCL are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 18 November 2013.

Picturehouse Media clocked volume of 51.83 lakh shares by 13:40 IST on BSE, a 256.52-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 20,000 shares. The stock lost 4.15% at Rs 30.

Financial Technologies (India) notched up volume of 18.40 lakh shares, a 5.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 3.51 lakh shares. The stock spurted 17.17% to Rs 177.05.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) saw volume of 7.88 lakh shares, a 4.01-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.96 lakh shares. The stock jumped 15.41% at Rs 504.

HDFC Bank clocked volume of 2.45 lakh shares, a 2.2-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.11 lakh shares. The stock rose 2.66% at Rs 659.

HPCL saw volume of 2.83 lakh shares, a 1.64-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1.73 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.26% at Rs 209.65..
