Piramal Glass clocked volume of 7.02 lakh shares by 13:47 IST on BSE, a 112.08-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 6,000 shares. The stock surged 19.61% at Rs 111.
Astrazeneca Pharma India notched up volume of 1.70 lakh shares, a 47.43-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 4,000 shares. The stock spurted 15.82% at Rs 856 after the company reported a net profit of Rs 1.52 crore in Q3 December 2013 as against net loss of Rs 17.70 crore in Q3 December 2012. The Q3 result was announced after market hours on Monday, 10 February 2014.
Astrazeneca Pharma India's net sales rose 13.3% to Rs 118.88 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.
SJVN saw volume of 50.52 lakh shares, a 18.27-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2.77 lakh shares. The stock jumped 4.85% at Rs 21.60.
Muthoot Finance clocked volume of 7.93 lakh shares, a 10.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 77,000 shares. The stock surged 9.72% at Rs 159.80.
