Raj Television Network clocked volume of 13.86 lakh shares by 14:10 IST on BSE, a 470.48 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock surged 4.89% at Rs 42.90.
Godfrey Phillips India notched up volume of 2.03 lakh shares, a 118.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock rose 1.15% at Rs 462.80.
Indraprastha Gas saw volume of 10.44 lakh shares, a 36-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 29,000 shares. The stock jumped 9.81% at Rs 458.80. The Supreme Court of India pronounced the judgement today, 1 July 2015 and dismissed the Special Leave Petition of Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board. Indraprastha Gas said that the company is awaiting full text of the order by the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court was to give its decision on whether or not the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) has the powers to decide the transport tariffs of gas companies in its verdict today, 1 July 2015. PNGRB regulates downstream transport tariffs for oil and gas.
Redington (India) clocked volume of 16.66 lakh shares, a 33.66-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 49,000 shares. The stock jumped 6.84% at Rs 103.15.
Axis Bank saw volume of 97.22 lakh shares, a 21.04-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 4.62 lakh shares. The stock rose 0.98% at Rs 564.10.
