Volumes jump at Sadbhav Infrastructure Project counter

Infosys, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Marksans Pharma and Deep Industries are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 14 January 2016.

Sadbhav Infrastructure Project clocked volume of 8.41 lakh shares by 13:48 IST on BSE, a 284.14 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 3,000 shares. The stock fell 0.27% at Rs 92.90.

Infosys notched up volume of 11.10 lakh shares, a 8.72-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.27 lakh shares. The stock gained 6.01% at Rs 1,147.40. Infosys in its guidance has increased the growth in its consolidated revenue in dollar and in rupee terms for the year ending 31 March 2016. Infosys' consolidated net profit as per the IFRS rose 2% to Rs 3465 crore on 1.7% rise in revenue to Rs 15902 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q2 September 2015. Operating profit fell 0.9% to Rs 3959 crore in Q3 December 2015 over Q2 September 2015. Earnings per share (EPS) rose 2% to Rs 15.16 in Q3 December 2015 over Q2 September 2015. The result was as per the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The result was announced during market hours today, 14 January 2016.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises saw volume of 4.48 lakh shares, a 7.62-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 59,000 shares. The stock rose 0.29% at Rs 415.50

Marksans Pharma clocked volume of 57.40 lakh shares, a 6.46-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 8.89 lakh shares. The stock rose 6.6% at Rs 80.80.

Deep Industries saw volume of 3.47 lakh shares, a 6.03-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 58,000 shares. The stock surged 6.83% at Rs 178.40.
