The stock surged 3.84% to Rs 23 after a block deal of 50 lakh shares was executed on BSE at Rs 22.15 per share at 9:16 IST. The block deal constitutes 3.92% of Texmaco Infrastructure & Holdings' equity.
Kennametal India notched up volume of 1.27 lakh shares, a 23.87-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock rose 2.62% to Rs 424.90.
Kotak Mahindra Bank saw volume of 3.20 lakh shares, a 5.92-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 54,000 shares. ABG Shipyard saw volume of 4.78 lakh shares, a 4.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.13 lakh shares. The stock spurted 14.31% at Rs 343.
MRF saw volume of 8,000 shares, a 4.08-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock surged 5.56% to Rs 13,510.
