Volumes jump at Westlife Development counter

Shriram City Union Finance, ADC India Communications, Shoppers Stop and Federal Bank are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 25 August 2015.

Westlife Development clocked volume of 23.64 lakh shares by 13:55 IST on BSE, a 7432.83 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 318 shares. The stock surged 10.45% at Rs 295.

Shriram City Union Finance notched up volume of 8.23 lakh shares, a 964.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock gained 0.53% at Rs 1,646.

ADC India Communications saw volume of 31.60 lakh shares, a 481.73-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 7,000 shares. The stock advanced 2.66% at Rs 316.

Shoppers Stop clocked volume of 3.12 lakh shares, a 165.21-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock shed 0.98% at Rs 358.70.

Federal Bank saw volume of 88.43 lakh shares, a 41.31-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2.14 lakh shares. A bulk deal of 85.18 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 60.40 per share at 09:41 IST on BSE today, 25 August 2015. The stock rose 1.06% at Rs 61.70.
