Welcast Steels net profit declines 56.14% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales rise 10.33% to Rs 59.83 crore

Net profit of Welcast Steels declined 56.14% to Rs 0.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 0.57 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 10.33% to Rs 59.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 54.23 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit rose 7.22% to Rs 2.82 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 2.63 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 11.06% to Rs 241.28 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 217.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
