Welcast Steels net profit rises 179.31% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 4.06% to Rs 62.26 crore

Net profit of Welcast Steels rose 179.31% to Rs 0.81 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 0.29 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 4.06% to Rs 62.26 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 59.83 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.30% to Rs 2.98 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2.83 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 1.49% to Rs 237.68 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 241.28 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
