Welcast Steels standalone net profit declines 69.81% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 8.37% to Rs 65.89 crore

Net profit of Welcast Steels declined 69.81% to Rs 0.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 0.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 8.37% to Rs 65.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 60.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit declined 10.17% to Rs 1.59 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1.77 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 16.08% to Rs 233.55 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 201.19 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
