Welspun India net profit rises 26.90% in the March 2013 quarter

Sales decline 0.51% to Rs 690.33 crore

Net profit of Welspun India rose 26.90% to Rs 53.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 42.42 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 0.51% to Rs 690.33 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 693.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,no net profit/loss reported in the year ended March 2013 as against net profit of Rs 117.11 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. There were no sales reported in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 2373.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
