Wockhardt consolidated net profit rises 25.88% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 6.10% to Rs 1013.36 crore

Net profit of Wockhardt rose 25.88% to Rs 42.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 34.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 6.10% to Rs 1013.36 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1079.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 19.57% to Rs 325.66 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 404.91 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 1.39% to Rs 4461.43 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4400.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
