WPIL standalone net profit rises 21.89% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 30.68% to Rs 43.07 crore

Net profit of WPIL rose 21.89% to Rs 10.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 8.36 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 30.68% to Rs 43.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 62.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 2.02% to Rs 17.18 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 16.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 8.27% to Rs 211.63 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 230.70 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
