Zee Entertainment Enterprises consolidated net profit rises 12.93% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 13.70% to Rs 1531.62 crore

Net profit of Zee Entertainment Enterprises rose 12.93% to Rs 260.61 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 230.77 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 13.70% to Rs 1531.62 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1347.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.04% to Rs 1026.77 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 977.50 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 19.82% to Rs 5851.46 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 4883.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
