Zensar Technologies rose 5.22% to Rs 948.55 at 9:59 IST on BSE after the company said it won a four year, multi-million dollar contract from the City of San Diego for network services.
The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 3 April 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 90.10 points, or 0.27% to 33,460.73.
On the BSE, 4,780 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 31,000 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 968.25 and a low of Rs 930.20 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,000 on 24 January 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 729.90 on 16 February 2018.
Zensar Technologies announced that it has recently been awarded a four year, multi-million dollar contract from the City of San Diego for network services. The contract has the option of extension of two additional two-year terms with the total not to exceed contract value being approximately $79 million.
Zensar Technologies' consolidated net profit fell 6.26% to Rs 60.17 crore on 4.09% growth in net sales to Rs 793.76 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q2 September 2017.
